    Google Games in the future?

Google’s plans to create a social media service are taking shape with word that the search giant has invested more than $100 million in Zynga, maker of popular online games available on Facebook.

PC World describes this as a way to compete to compete with Facebook and asks 5 Burning Questions about the rumored Google gaming platform.

The tech blogosphere says the Google social network will be called Google Me. CNN says the project would build on Google Buzz, a social networking effort rolled out by Google in February, to criticism and  indifference.

It will be interesting to see if Google Me tries to compete with Facebook in the privacy space. You would think there would be competitive advantage in offering a better, clearer, simpler privacy policy. Facebook’s privacy policy is longer than the U.S. Constitution.
